Erno Rubik, the Hungarian professor who created the Rubik’s Cube, has created the successor to the Cube. The new toy called Rubik’s 360 is set to be unveiled at a toy fair in Germany on Feb 5. The new game hopes to once more entertain the public this time featuring six balls trapped within three transparent plastic spheres. The objective is simple and has only one solution but requires skill, dexterity and patience.
Players must get the coloured balls from an inner sphere into matching slots on the outer sphere by shaking them through a middle sphere that has only two holes. Two-time British Cube-solving champion Dan Harris from Norfolk has a review of the Rubik’s 360.

If you’re a computer gamer, you’ve probably come across a lot of gadgets to make life more blissful while playing those PC games. Logitech, known for its keyboards and game pads, has decided to come up with yet another of those gadgets in the hope of making us all happy aside from the G13.
Just came across a pic at Engadget of what seems to be the Logitech G18 gamer’s keyboard. Those keys will surely be programmable. There’s also a tiny display on the gadget — I wonder if that is also programmable.

Of course, you’ll have to be ready to open up your wallet to get hold of those beauties.

How does being able to create/design the specifications of your next notebook, netbook or gamer’s notebook PC sound to you? I’m sure every notebook or netbook owner would want to voice out their opinion on how the next netbook or notebook will come out of production.
Well, here’s an exciting idea introduced by Intel and ASUS.
… consumers can collaborate with each other and with Intel and ASUS to design innovative new products. The plan is for the two companies to deliver to market what could be the world’s first community-designed PCs.

This next sequel to the Asphalt Racing mobile J2ME games from Gameloft is great. Better than the last Asphalt 3 mobile game which I played a lot. If you’re still contemplating on whether to buy the Asphalt 4: Elite Racing mobile game, stop hesitating and just buy the Asphalt 4 mobile game.
Starting off with the graphics of Asphalt 4: Elite Racing, even the menu has better graphics than the older Asphalt 3. The scenes are now in 3D. The 3D renders look good on the SE mobile phone I’m using. The buildings and race path are much better than the flat 2D look in Asphalt 3.

I’ve play quite a number of mobile Java games ever since I started this site and posted them under mobile games. I’ve never really gotten to update my Recommended list of mobile games so I’m doing it now.

I really enjoyed playing the Kobe Bryant mobile game the last time and being able to play NBA Smash is great. If you had played the Kobe Bryant basketball mobile java game, NBA Smash lets you play more of the street type of basketball.

The proposed merger of Activision and Vivendi has finally gotten approval from the Activision shareholders. Under the merger, Vivendi Games will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision. Hmmm, this would put top hit games like Guitar Hero and Warcraft under one roof, sure hope they don’t think of coming up with a Warcraft Rockstar (although I have to admit I like rock music and playing Warcraft).

I love this mobile game, this is one game that I would add to my list. I have to admit that I like playing billiards — think of the entertaining ways to apply practical geometry in everyday game play. Really this is one game that relaxes me. Another would be playing Wimbledon 2008.

Over the week end I got a copy of the mobile Java game from EA mobile called Command and Conquer 3 – Tiberium Wars. I love playing strategy games on the PC and Command and Conquer is one of them so I was very curious how it was on the mobile phone.
