Start playing the WGT Golf Challenge on your Chrome web browser. This games for golf fans provides great graphics and gaming user experience while running on your Chrome web browser. It just in time for this week’s opening of the US Open.
The WGT Golf Challenge game’s objective is to swing the club into perfection so that the golf ball is as close to the hole as you can make it. Points are scored depending on how far or near your golf ball is to the hole in the green. Although I’m not much of a golf fan but I’m beginning to like this game. The challenge is to hone your skills to get a perfect swing.
I just saw the Nokia E6 become available locally for about Php 16,000+. The Nokia E6 is the first mobile phone from Nokia that is running the newest Symbian Anna operating system to be available in the Philippines. It’s a QWERTY phone like the Nokia E71. This will be a nice mobile phone for those who love to text since the display has a 640×480 resolution that makes the display of the characters very sharp and readable. The display is also a touch screen and uses Gorilla glass for durability.
The Nokia E6 comes with the usual features that you’d find in a modern smartphone like GPS, Wifi, 3.5G data speeds, stereo FM radio, bluetooth. It has a dual camera with the primary camera capable of taking 8-megapixel shots using a fixed focus lens and dual LED flash.

Android in the Philippines is gaining ground. This week people have asked me — What is Android? I have also observed that more young people are using mobile phones that have Android on it. So on this post, I decided to explain as simple as I can what Android is so that if someone asks me again, I can just point to this post and let them read and discover for themselves.
I have to admit, the Philippines is still a major Nokia country. You see them everywhere. I for one also use a Nokia mobile phone. I am still a fan of Nokia because they produce high quality cellphones. What happened to me is another worth another post altogether, but for now let’s concentrate on Android.
By the end of June 2011, the Philippines will get three super Android phones all of which are powered by dual-core processors. The three dual-core Android phones are the HTC Sensation (coming this June), Samsung Galaxy S II (also coming this June) and the just released LG Optimus 2X.
Mobile phones are fast evolving into small powerful computers and pretty soon most of us won’t feel the need to use a regular desktop computer. All these phones run Android 2.3 also known as the Gingerbread version. Each one has at least 4-inches of display area running at 1-Ghz or more of CPU power. Of course, it has all the basic specs that you’d expect from phones of this caliber like — GPS, bluetooth, dual cameras, Wifi, 3G, internal storage and a lot more.
