On Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04, I can say the Nokia 3110 Classic works using Network Manager right outta da box...

And LG U890, LG U990 and Motorola Rizr Z8 (aka Motorizr Z8) do not even show up in Network Manager. Even though I have read others with the LG U890/U990 having success...can't remember if they were using 9.10 or 10.04 though, I know a couple had older, like Intrepid or Gutsy.

For me, its been most do not, and one does!

Hi there. My motorola razr v3 works fine but slow using a 64k sim. Don't think it is 3g capable. But I can't get karmic to see my Sagem 404x. I am hoping it will be a bit quicker.
Any ideas
Thanks for the info.

My LG CU515 Plum is flawless and simple with knetworkmanager under kubuntu 8.10. Plug the phone in, and it shows up in knetworkmanager. Configure, save, and connect. Took me 30 seconds. Kubuntu is ready for prime-time.
