Happy Birthday NetBeans!

NetBeans celebrated it’s 10th year with a birthday greeting from Java’s godfather James Gosling. To add to the celebration, NetBeans is giving away 300 limited edition T-shirts!

NetBeans started out as a student project. It has now grown into a feature filled IDE for several languages like Java, C/C++, PHP, Ruby. Its growth has been due to the support and use of a worldwide community of software developers, students, instructors and partner companies.

As part of the celebration, NetBeans has been holding a World Tour across different parts of the globe to help software developers learn how to use NetBeans.

NetBeans has also completed a series of Developer Days in different countries in the past several months.

Happy Birthday NetBeans!
