The real reason why Bill Gates retired from Microsoft

Before Bill retired, most of the news gave out philantrophy as the main reason of his retirement. Being a big event in the world of technology, Microsoft scheduled a press conference for Bill to answer some questions that people are itching to ask him.

In a press conference just before the actual retirement of Bill from Microsoft, one of the reporters who was close to Bill asked the most obvious question.

Reporter (Friend):

Why are you retiring from Microsoft?

Bill Gates:

I want to start doing some philantrophic work by helping children get an eduction.

After the press conference, Bill secretly handed down a message written on his personal memopad to the reporter/friend. After reading the note, the reporter who is a Ubuntu user smiled and threw the note away.

Gerry.ws got hold of the note Bill gave to the reporter/friend. Here’s the scanned version of the note:

with the IQ Mr. Gates supposedly has it would surprise me if he has not
already used Linux. If I was in his position Windows would just be
a marketing platform for a host of my proprietary products allowing
me to capitalize on it’s hidden API hooks.
