Beautiful Ubuntu based MID
This is such a beautiful Mobile Internet Device with Ubuntu Linux already pre-installed – no need to worry about drivers to download and re-compile. Works right out of the box. I would love to have one of these WiBrain Ubuntu based UMPC devices.

It’s running on VIA C7M ULV 1.2 GHz + VX700 with a 4.8″ WSVGA (1024×600) touchscreen, 1GB of DDR2, 802.11 b/g wifi, 60GB hard disk, 4-cell lithium ion battery, webcam, USB port, microphone in, headphone jack, docking connector, 2 channel stereo, touchpad & qwerty keyboard. It also has an assortment of optional accessories like a docking station, car mount with GPS and extended battery.
And the WiBrain UMPC comes in a 19.2cm x 82cm x 28cm, 520g package. Take a look at some of the other images below — don’t you just love it?

Wonder if this WiBrain device is equipped with a 3D chip. The only thing missing from the from this mobile internet device is bluetooth with A2DP and an HSDPA radio. Get that in and you’ll be connected with your Ubuntu-based UMPC whereever you go.
