If you’re a developer, here’s your chance to make it big with your location-aware wireless software. The NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge offers up to $5.25 million in cash and prices. So get that killer app working and join the Challenge.
The Navteq Global LBS Challenge is open in three regions — EMEA, The Americas and APAC. It is open to start-up developers and existing commercial companies. The challenge focuses on creating cutting-edge location-aware wireless applications.
The LBS Challenge is now accepting submissions for EMEA and The Americas as of this writing and APAC is opening soon.
This year Sony Ericsson is co-sponsor of the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge and will provide qualifying contestants with both devices and software tools to enable the development of applications based the Sony Ericsson Java SDK or the Project Capuchin SDK.
