Globe Telecom offers Twitter updates

Globe Telecom, a mobile phone service provider in the Philippines has finally offered a Twitter update service for it’s cell phone users so I’ve decided to install a twitter widget on this site and check out the new service of Globe.

It’s kinda cool to be able to post small notes on the site and have my family and friends be able to read them when they are online on Net — beats the hell out having to send some “hello messages” to all of them.

Now if only I could get them to read my “twits” instead is the next question.

Anyway, I’ve configured my mobile phone to be able to send twitter updates via the Globe Telecom service and it works. You can read more about the Globe service here.
